Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Miami, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Respiratory NICU/PICU
Setting: Acute care hospital, Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center, Level 3 NICU, Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center
Equipment used: High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo ventilators, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, regular nebulizers
Documentation system: Meditech
Floating policy: May provide coverage for regular adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, etc.

Job Description

Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases
Utilize advanced technologies and medication delivery
Work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary, and collaborative environment
Team player with critical thinking and patient care focus required
Dress code: Light Gray (Silver) uniform

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
BLS
NBRC
NRP
PALS
Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience

Additional Information

Unit staffing includes Director, Manager, Supervisor/Charge Therapist per shift, and regular staff
The role may require adaptability to change and coverage flexibility
The facility is a tertiary care and teaching hospital with multiple specialty designations

Note: Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
