Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry
Location
- Highlands, North Carolina
Employment Type
- Travel assignment
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit: Acute Care
- Number of beds: 24
- Patient ratios: 6 to 7 patients per nurse
- Staffing: No unit secretaries, techs, or extra RNs when no tech available
- Equipment: Standard Medical/Surgical
- Documentation system: Cerner
- Scheduling: Three 12-hour shifts per week
- Floating policy: Rarely required
- Patient population: Geriatric and swing bed patients in an affluent community with concierge-level service expectations
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience in a Rehabilitation setting
- Experience caring for Geriatric patients
Work Environment
- Dress code: Navy or navy top with white bottoms
- Culture: Excellent teamwork and positive unit culture
