Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position

Denver, Colorado

Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36

Unit Information

Respiratory Care Department (adult patients)
Day shift: 7 AM to 7 PM
Equipment used: G5, Servo, Avea, HFOV, Jet, V60/V30 ventilators
Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Colorado
Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS
NRP
NBRC
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Level III NICU experience
Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience

Preferred Qualifications

Critical care experience (adult and neonatal/pediatric)
PICU experience
Prior experience with Meditech EMR

Typical Procedures

Airway management
Ventilator management
Emergency Department support

Additional Information

Strong patient care skills and effective communication with staff and providers are essential
The unit uses advanced respiratory equipment specific to patient populations
Competitive market; experience and certifications are highly valued
