Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position

Location

  • Denver, Colorado

Employment Type

  • Travel contract
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Hours per week: 36

Unit Information

  • Respiratory Care Department (adult patients)
  • Day shift: 7 AM to 7 PM
  • Equipment used: G5, Servo, Avea, HFOV, Jet, V60/V30 ventilators
  • Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Colorado
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • NRP
  • NBRC
  • Experience working with Pediatric patients
  • Level III NICU experience
  • Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Critical care experience (adult and neonatal/pediatric)
  • PICU experience
  • Prior experience with Meditech EMR

Typical Procedures

  • Airway management
  • Ventilator management
  • Emergency Department support

Additional Information

  • Strong patient care skills and effective communication with staff and providers are essential
  • The unit uses advanced respiratory equipment specific to patient populations
