RN Oncology Infusion Clinic - Adult

Location

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

10-hour shifts
40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma
1 year of infusion experience
Infusion experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Fundamentals Of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration
Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Oncology experience

Key Responsibilities

Administer medications, chemotherapy, intravenous infusions, and blood products
Monitor patient condition and physiological data, and intervene when needed
Assist physicians during conscious sedation and minor diagnostic or treatment procedures
Document patient responses and changes in physician orders
Provide chemotherapy-related education to patients and families
Coordinate follow-up care, referrals, and post-visit phone calls
Delegate tasks to support staff and assist with clinic-specific assignments
