Description
Registered Nurse (Med Surg) - Travel Assignment
Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (floating and call required)
Hours per week: 36
Job Description
- Provide general medical-surgical inpatient nursing care.
- Occasional care of non-critical pediatric patients on the floor.
- Patient ratio typically 1:6.
- Floating and call duties required; call only occurs for census flex prior to scheduled shift if census is low.
- EMR system used: MedHost.
- Scrub color: Any color allowed.
- Blocked scheduling may be accommodated if specified in submission.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Current BLS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- 48-hour guarantees are not approved.
- This is a travel assignment requiring agency registration with the state of New Mexico for fingerprinting compliance.
