Description
Job Opportunity: CVICU Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Unit: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
- Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
- Schedule: Every other weekend required
- Float Opportunities: May float to MSICU, Neuro ICU, Burn ICU as needed
- Local Radius: 75 miles (no local candidates accepted)
- Scrub Color: Navy
- Welcoming first-time travel nurses
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- CVICU (2 years of experience)
- CVICU experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience
- Neuro ICU experience
- Burn ICU experience
Additional Information
- Prior travel experience is not required; first-time travelers are welcome
- Background checks include SS trace, county searches, nationwide sex offender, and education verification
- Fingerprinting required only for New Mexico placements (not applicable here)
- Orientation includes safety manual acknowledgment and HIPAA compliance
- References are not required for clearance but may be requested internally
- Candidates must be able to work every other weekend and float to other ICU units as needed
