Registered Nurse (NICU) - Travel Assignment

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Travel


Job Summary

Seeking a NICU RN with Level 3 experience to provide care for a variety of neonatal patients ranging from stable feeder growers to critically ill Level 3 patients. The role includes floating within the unit but does not require taking assignments in other units.


Work Schedule

  • Weekend Day Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Hours: 3 AM to 3 PM (12-hour shifts)
  • Block scheduling with approved orientation consisting of 2 twelve-hour shifts
  • Approximately 36 hours per week
  • No call requirements

Unit Details

  • NICU with 40 beds
  • Patient ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:3
  • Scrub color: Navy blue
  • Electronic Medical Record system: Cerner

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Indiana
  • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
  • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NRP
  • STABLE
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Driver's License

Additional Information

  • Floating required within the NICU unit only
  • No call responsibilities
  • Orientation provided with 2 twelve-hour shifts

This position is ideal for experienced NICU RNs seeking a travel assignment with weekend day shifts and a Level 3 neonatal care environment.
