Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Weekly orientation on Mondays

Electronic Health Records (EHR): Centricity, Meditech
Float requirements: Postpartum care

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alabama
3 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
NRP
EFM
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Fetal Monitoring and Assessment
Post Partum experience

Common Diagnoses/Treatments

Normal spontaneous labor
Preterm labor
Gestational hypertension
Preeclampsia
Placenta previa
Placental abruption
Fetal distress
Umbilical cord prolapse
Postpartum hemorrhage
