Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Travel)

Location

Denver, Colorado

Job Type

Travel assignment
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36

Unit Information

Emergency Department with 11 beds
Staffing includes 2 RNs per shift (day and night), 1 paramedic mid-shift, 1 MD 24/7, 1 radiology tech 24/7, and 1 security guard 24/7
Patient ratio: 1 RN to 4 patients
Equipment: GE monitors, Baxter pumps
Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
Acute care experience
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, ENPC, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
Ability to work mid-shift and night shift

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as an ER charge RN
Willingness to float between different Emergency Department units
