Job Opportunity: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist (Night Shift)

Location: Claremont, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Perform all diagnostic CT procedures under the guidance of the CT clinical supervisor.
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality exams for patients of all age groups (newborn to geriatric).
  • Work effectively with patients, physicians, and interdepartmental personnel.
  • Prioritize patient care and quality in all technologist duties.
  • Must be able to work independently and "hit the ground running."
  • Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color.
  • Electronic Medical Record system used: HMS Medhost.
  • No call or call-back responsibilities.
  • No non-billable orientation or holiday multipliers.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of current Imaging/CT experience.
  • ARRT (CT) Certification is mandatory.
  • New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (MIRT) Temporary License available; travelers who have applied for this license will be considered.
  • Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • IV skills required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle (no public transportation available).
  • Traveler’s permanent address must be included in the profile.
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with MediTech, Phillips, Siemens, AGFA DR, Siemens, OEC C-arm equipment.
  • Prior travel experience preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Additional Notes

  • This is a small community setting without public transportation; personal vehicle is a firm requirement.
  • Scheduling requests and time off must be finalized before submission; requests after offer or during interview will not be approved and may result in offer rescission.
  • Profile submission should include work history and required license and certification documents.

This position is ideal for a CT Technologist seeking a temporary night shift role in a community hospital setting with a focus on independent work and high-quality patient care.
