ICU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

  • Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

  • Facility type: Acute care hospital
  • Trauma level: Level 3 trauma center
  • Bed size: 171 staffed beds

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Oklahoma
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • NIHSS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Basic dysrhythmia training
  • Med Surg experience
  • ED - Emergency Department experience
  • Experience with Epic

Schedule and Assignment Details

  • Weekend requirement: 3 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
  • Floating may be required to Med Surg or ER based on census
  • No on-call requirement
  • Block scheduling not available
  • Local candidates accepted
  • Pending license not accepted

Clinical Focus

  • CRRT
  • Cardiac and post-cardiac surgery care
  • CABG hemodynamic monitoring
  • Respiratory failure and ventilator management
  • DKA
  • Altered mental status
  • Multiple drips
  • Central line, arterial line, and CVP setup/management
  • Basic dysrhythmia training required

Compliance and Start Requirements

  • Background check required within 30 days of start
  • Copy of diploma or transcript required before start
  • Unit-specific competency exam required
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • TB screening or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, and flu documentation required
  • Drug screen required within 30 days of start
  • 2 references required
  • Annual skills checklist required
  • Work history verification for the last 3 years
  • Must complete required onboarding modules and sign required documents before start
  • Must complete parking registration within 48 to 72 hours after signing
  • Must commit to going into the lab within 48 to 72 hours of signing

Additional Notes

  • No holiday RTO
  • Maximum of 5 total RTO days in the 13-week assignment
  • No additional RTO after submission or while on contract
  • Free parking
