Location

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Provides nursing care in a hospital setting for pediatric ICU patients with a range of health needs.
• Core duties include patient assessment and monitoring, medication administration, IV and blood product management, documentation, coordination with physicians and care team members, patient/family education, and delegation to support staff.

Required Qualifications

• 1 year of experience
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Current RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
• PALS certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• CVICU experience
• NICU experience
• Level 1 experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher from a Board Approved Program

Additional Information

• Some computer skills are needed
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors is needed
