Description
RN ICU - Pediatrics
Location
- Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provides nursing care in a hospital setting for pediatric ICU patients with a range of health needs.
- Core duties include patient assessment and monitoring, medication administration, IV and blood product management, documentation, coordination with physicians and care team members, patient/family education, and delegation to support staff.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
- Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- PALS certification from the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- CVICU experience
- NICU experience
- Level 1 experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher from a Board Approved Program
Additional Information
- Some computer skills are needed
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed
- Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors is needed
