Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse – Outpatient Clinic
Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday to Friday, Days (5x8 hour shifts, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 40
Job Description
- Immediate start available, with start dates up to mid-July.
- Locals accepted.
- First-time travelers accepted.
- Must have at least 1 year of prior OBGYN nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinic experience.
- Clinic experience within the last year.
- Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Prior OB/GYN nursing experience.
Background and Screening Requirements
- 7-year background check covering all locations lived, worked, or attended school.
- Wisconsin Caregiver Screening search required.
- 2 professional references verified within 2 years; for inpatient RNs, one must be from the most recent acute care assignment (may not apply here but good to note).
Health and Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start.
- Negative QGold TB test within 1 year (Chest X-Ray acceptable if within 60 days).
- Immunity or vaccination proof for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
- Negative 10-panel drug screen with expanded opiates within 14 days of start (instant tests not accepted). Positive marijuana test is not disqualifying.
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (October to March).
Additional Requirements
- Photo for badge (passport-style, shoulders up, no filters).
- Completion of confidentiality statement prior to start.
- Annual skills checklist.
- Flu vaccine exemption forms if applicable.
Notes
- Prior travel experience is not required.
- Locals and first-time travelers are welcome.
- This role is outpatient clinic-based with a standard weekday day shift schedule.
This position is ideal for a Registered Nurse with OBGYN experience seeking a 13-week travel contract in Wisconsin with a consistent Monday-Friday day schedule.
