CT Technologist

Job Overview

Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Location: Johns Island, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
Call Requirement: No
Floating: May float within scope to like units
First-time Travelers: Not accepted

Required Qualifications

2 years of experience
Registered in Radiography (ARRT-R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT-C)
South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association registration
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Work Expectations

Provide quality imaging and patient care in X-ray and CT
Explain procedures clearly to patients
Produce images for interpretation or at the request of a licensed practitioner

Preferred Experience

Emergency, trauma, pediatrics, and orthopedic exams in both modalities
Siemens equipment
Epic
PACS

Additional Notes

Radiation badge must be provided by the agency
Radius rule applies: 60 miles
Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis
All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season
