Job Overview

Location: Columbia, South Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 4x10 hours (6:30 AM–5:00 PM)
Hours per week: 40
First-timers accepted: Yes

Schedule Expectations

On-call: 1 weekday call shift per week and 2–3 weekend call shifts in a 6-week schedule
Weekends: 2–3 weekends in a 6-week schedule
Floating: May float between service lines
Floating to sister facilities: No

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist with 1 year of experience
Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NBSTSA
Experience with Orthopedic surgery
Experience with Neurosurgery
Experience with Ophthalmic surgery
Experience with Robotic surgery

Additional Notes

Facility does not accept NCCT
Agency must provide the radiation badge
Scrubs are hospital-issued
Epic is the preferred charting system
Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis
Block scheduling may be accommodated with manager approval, depending on unit needs
