Description

Endoscopy RN

Overview

Travel/contract role in Madison, Wisconsin
13-week assignment
Day/evening schedule, 8-hour shifts
Rotating start times between 6:30 AM and 10:30 AM
Weeknight call required
May need to stay past the end of shift to finish the day’s schedule

Key Responsibilities

Perform moderate sedation in procedure
Provide pre- and post-procedure care across all levels, including PACU/Phase I and Phase II recovery
Recover sedated GI and pulmonary procedures, including ERCP, EUS, EGD, colonoscopy, endoscopy, and bronchoscopy

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Endoscopy (2 years of experience)
Endoscopy experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
Experience with Epic

Software / Systems

Epic experience required
