Cath Lab RN

Job Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Riverview, Florida
Start date: 8/17
Contract length: 13 weeks
Day shift, 4x10 hours
Hours per week: 40
On-call required: 1 week on, 3 weeks off
May float within scope to IR
First-time travelers accepted only if experienced in Cath Lab
Locals accepted within 75–100 miles
No RTO allowed in the contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Conscious Sedation skills
Interventional Radiology experience
Experience with Cerner

Compliance and Pre-Start Requirements

Background check
EPLS/GSA/SAM check
HHS/OIG check
Education verification
Physical exam within 6 months of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 10 weeks of start
TB questionnaire
Drug test within 30 days
Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
Flu vaccination or declination, with exemptions accepted
Respiratory safety clearance if the clinician will use a respirator
References: 2 within the past 2 years
