Description
RN - Emergency Dept
Assignment Overview
- Travel RN position in Round Rock, Texas
- 13-week contract
- Night shift: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- 36 hours per week
- No call required
- Rotating weekends
Unit Setting
- Emergency Department
- 35 beds
- Typical patient ratios: 4:1 or 3:1
- Common procedures include trauma, stroke, STEMI, and moderate sedation
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse License
- 1 year of experience in the specialty
- ACLS
- BLS
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
- NIH Certification
- PALS
- TNCC
Preferred Qualifications
- ENPC
Work Environment
- High-energy environment with a busy pace
- Navy scrubs for RNs
Additional Notes
- Meditech is used for the electronic medical record system
