Operating Room Nurse

Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Kinston, North Carolina
Start dates: 5/26 or 6/8
Day shift: 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday possible, 6:45 AM–5:00 PM
Call requirement: 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month
Block scheduling is not guaranteed
Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
OR - Operating Room (5 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

PALS
CNOR

Role Details

Provides perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgery
Surgical case mix includes general, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, C-sections, eyes, vascular, dental, and ENT
Average daily census: 93

Travel Experience

Prior travel experience is not required if the clinician has sufficient experience otherwise

Additional Notes

Candidates will be reviewed and interviewed by the manager
Requested time off must be included with submission to be honored at offer time
