CT Tech
Job Overview
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Location: Mount Airy, North Carolina
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night shift, 5x8 hours
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 PM to 3:00 AM
- Call: No call
- Holiday Coverage: Rotational holiday coverage with existing staff
- Orientation: First week is day shift for CT and X-ray orientation
- Start Date: May be adjustable
Role Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and X-rays
Required Qualifications
- CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT (CT)
- State license verification
- Unit-specific competency exam
- Unit-specific skills checklist
- Proof of 2 professional references
- Complete resume/application
- Government-issued photo ID
- Background check
- E-Verify or attestation
- Educational background form
- EEOC form
- Photo/video release form
- Background release form
- Data sheet
- Statement of confidentiality
- Signature authentication form
- Employee certification and agreement of compliance

- Radiation badge requirement documentation
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit test with 3M 1860 mask within 12 months of start
- Tdap within 10 years of start
- Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
- Hepatitis B documentation or facility-specific declination
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- COVID vaccination information if vaccinated
Preferred Experience
- Experience on GE CT scanners
