Step Down Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Hazard, Kentucky
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
Unit Details
- Stepdown/PCU unit
- 34 beds
- Typical ratio: 1:5
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
Schedule and Work Expectations
- Every other weekend required
- Float required within scope of practice
- Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
- Standard 36/48 schedule applies unless otherwise noted
Additional Notes
- Meditech EMR is used
- Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility
- Valid driver’s license is required for submission
- Assignment confirmation must be signed within 24 hours of the offer
