Description
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Oxford, North Carolina
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift, 3x12 hours
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current North Carolina RN license
- ACLS required prior to start
- BLS required
- NRP required for Labor & Delivery
- EFM required for Labor & Delivery
- AWHONN certification required for EFM; intermediate or advanced accepted
- NURSYS verification required for all RNs
- Education verification required
- 2 clinical references required
- Background check required
- Physical exam required
- Drug screen required
- Tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap documentation required
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray required
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation required
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
- I-9, government-issued photo ID, and E-Verify documentation required
Experience
- 2 years of experience preferred
- Travel experience preferred
Additional Notes
- MEDITECH experience is not required
- STABLE is preferred for Labor & Delivery
