Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

Overview

Location: Roanoke, Virginia
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 hours, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday with one rotating day off
Contract length: 13 weeks
Weekend coverage: Possible
Call: Required, including one primary call per week and one primary call weekend per month
Holiday coverage: Must be available to work or take call one holiday per 13-week contract
Local candidates: Not accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
BLS issued by the American Heart Association
PALS issued by the American Heart Association
Experience in neuro and peripheral interventions
Experience with Epic

Compliance / Onboarding Requirements

Driver’s license or state ID within 48 hours of signing
E-Verify or attestation
7-year background check
EPLS/GSA/SAM check
HHS/OIG check
Education verification of highest earned degree
NURSYS verification
State license primary source verification
Photo for badge
Access and confidentiality agreement
New hire paperwork
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit mask testing within 1 year of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
TB questionnaire
Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
