Case Manager

Job Overview

• Specialty: Registered Nurse
• Location: Lanham, Maryland
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts
• Hours: 40 per week
• Weekend/holiday coverage: Rotating weekends and holidays

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Case Management (1 year of experience)
• Case Management experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS

Compliance / Onboarding Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check covering all locations lived and worked in the past 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start and at each renewal/extension
• HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start and at each renewal/extension
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• N95 fit test within the past 12 months before start
• Tdap vaccination within 10 years
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within the past 12 months
• TB questionnaire before start
• Measles, mumps, and rubella immunity documentation within 5 years
• Hepatitis B immunity documentation or declination
• Varicella immunity documentation
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
• Color vision testing within 12 months of start
• Badge photo submission

Notes

• ACLS is required only for certain units, not all RN roles.
• NIH Stroke Certification is required for most units, with listed exceptions.
• PALS, NRP, and chemotherapy certification are unit-specific and not universal requirements.
