CVOR Tech

Job Overview

• Shift: Day (4x10 hours), 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Hours per week: 40
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Schedule & Call

• On-call required
• Call expectation: 2–3 calls per week and at least 1 weekend per month
• Weekend work required

Required Qualifications

• CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Experience working with Adult patients
• Experience working with Adolescent patients
• Experience working with Geriatric patients

Preferred Qualifications

• NBSTSA certification strongly preferred

Case Mix

• Adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients
• General and neuro surgery cases
• Cardiovascular cases preferred

Work Setting

• Acute care hospital
• 12 operating rooms
• 178 staffed beds

Additional Notes

• No floating within scope
• Locals accepted
• Block scheduling may be accommodated
• RTO restriction: 1 request

Compliance / Onboarding Highlights

• Government-issued photo ID required
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation required
• 7-year criminal background check required
• Education verification or transcript/diploma required
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Fit testing required within 12 months of start and annually
• 11-panel drug screen including cotinine or nicotine and marijuana required within 30 days of start
• Proof of 2 clinical references required
• Attestation of prior radiation exposure required for CVOR Tech
• Tobacco/nicotine-free policy enforced; nicotine use results in cancellation
