Description
Occupational Therapist
Job Overview
- Location: Charleston, West Virginia
- Setting: Medical rehabilitation unit inside a trauma hospital
- Patient population: Adult and geriatric
- Primary case mix: Stroke patients
- Employment type: Travel/contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Weekend requirement: 1 Saturday per month for 4 hours
- Call: No call required
- Float: May float to a sister facility if needed
- Start date: Every other Monday, once fully cleared
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in West Virginia
- Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NBCOT
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers may be considered if experience requirements are met
- Pending state license may be accepted
- No special requirements listed
- Cerner is used for charting
