- Level III trauma and medical-surgical overflow as census permits
Schedule
- Night shift
- 3x12 or 4x12 schedule options
- Every other weekend, floating, and holidays are required
- Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Patient Volume
- Typical ratio: 1:7
- Unit can monitor up to 8 telemetry patients
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
- One completed travel assignment
- Experience with Epic
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
Additional Requirements
- Must be comfortable with the stated patient ratios
- Submission must include a completed cover sheet, current NURSYS report, and all requested time off
- License and background hits are not accepted
- Unit-specific skills checklist required
- 2 references required
