Respiratory Therapist

Job Overview

Location: Millen, Georgia
Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 4x10 hours
Hours: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Schedule notes: 3–4 day workweek preferred, with 2–4 call shifts per week
Weekend work required
Floating within scope may be required
First-time travelers accepted
RTO restrictions: None

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Georgia
Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Compliance and Pre-Start Requirements

Background check
EPLS/GSA/SAM check
HHS/OIG check
Competency exam
Medication test/pharmacology competency exam, as applicable
Clear passport-style photo for badge
Review and sign facility policies and agreements
Complete emergency contact form
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
TB questionnaire
Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation
Negative 9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
Skills checklist

Notes for Candidates

Call shifts are part of the schedule
On-call hours are 5:00 PM–7:00 AM
Clinician may be asked to float within scope to meet facility needs
