Step Down RN

Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Morgantown, West Virginia
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Start date: ASAP
Possible extension

Unit Details

Stepdown / Immediate Care Unit
Typical patient ratio: 1:4, with flex to 1:5 in emergencies
Weekdays with some weekends
Holiday time-off requests should be limited to no more than 2 of the 4 major holidays
Weekend-only block schedules may be considered

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in West Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Stepdown experience within the last year
Stepdown (2 years of experience)
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
IV start
Ability to read cardiac strips
Telemetry experience

Prior travel experience is not required
Scrubs are not provided; burgundy and/or white scrubs are required
Cerner is used onsite
