Job Overview

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

NIHSS certification

Assignment Details

First-time travelers are accepted if they have more than 2 years of experience
Floating may be required to medical-surgical patients in ICU, PCU, or ED holds
Every other weekend coverage is expected
Charge pay is offered

Unit Notes

Community hospital medical-surgical unit
Receives patients from OR, ED, and ICU/PCU downgrades
Typical census includes 8–12 admits over 24 hours
Target ratio is 5:1 with charge out of staffing; may flex to 6:1
