Labor and Delivery

Job Overview

Specialty: Registered Nurse
Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

Work in labor and delivery and postpartum.
Float between postpartum and labor and delivery/OR.
May also work antepartum and OR/PACU as part of labor and delivery coverage.

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Michigan
2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Experience working in a large teaching facility
Post Partum experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure

Schedule and Unit Details

Ratio: 1:3
Call: None
Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period

Additional Requirements

Flu vaccination required during flu season with no exemptions
2 supervisory references required at submission
Background check required
Physical exam required within 1 year of start
Fit test required within 1 year of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 1 year of start
Negative 10-panel drug screen required within 30 days of start
Completion of required onboarding and attestation documents before start
