Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Pediatrics (1 year of experience)
- Pediatrics experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
Preferred Experience
- EPIC experience
- Insurance authorization experience
Role Summary
- Provides general nursing care in a clinic or medical office setting
- Administers medications and treatments, monitors patient response, documents care, and provides patient and family education
- Uses the nursing process, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Supports patient flow, safety, quality care, documentation, and coordination across the continuum of care
