Labor and Delivery Nurse

Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Kingman, Arizona
Night shift: 1x12 hours, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Orientation starts every Monday
Float assignment includes Labor and Delivery and postpartum
Patient ratio: 1:2 depending on acuity

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Post Partum experience

Charting

MEDITECH
OBIX preferred, but not required

Compliance and Onboarding

Government-issued photo ID
Background check with 7-year search within 30 days of start
EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
HHS/OIG screening
Transcript or diploma
Education verification through NSCH
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
Annual TB questionnaire
Measles, mumps, and rubella immunity documentation based on birth year requirements
Hepatitis B documentation
Varicella documentation
9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
2 references within 3 years of start
Annual skills checklist
Facility-specific forms and training, including confidentiality, behavioral expectations, right to know, HIPAA/information security, candidate form, and job description
Passport-style badge photo

RN job description applies based on degree type
Competency exam and medication/pharmacology competency exam may be required as applicable by profession
