Cath Lab RN

Overview

Specialty: Registered Nurse
Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Setting: Cath Lab
Facility type: Short-term acute care, teaching, Level I trauma
Staffing ratio: 1:1

Schedule

Shift: Day, 4x10 hours
Shift times: 7:00–17:30 and 10:00–20:30, rotating as needed
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
On-call: Required, with rotating call including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Floating: May float within the service line
Block scheduling: Not available
Guaranteed hours: 40 per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Interventional scrub experience

Role Details

RN circulator in a diagnostic and interventional PCI environment
Responsibilities include conscious sedation under attending direction, handing off sterile supplies, assessing vitals, and documenting in EPIC
May cross-train to run hemodynamics in the monitor tech role

Local candidates are not accepted
Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
Requested time off is limited to 7 days
Government-issued ID is required
Background check, education verification, and license verification are required
Monthly parking passes are available at additional cost
