Operating Room RN

Job Overview

• Travel/contract role in Columbia, South Carolina
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 6:45 AM–5:15 PM
• Call is required
• Floating to other units/campuses may be required based on census and staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
• 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• State license verification
• NURSYS verification
• Pass/Fail testing for medication and arrhythmia
• Orientation safety acknowledgment
• CMS site documentation attestation
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask clearance
• Negative TB or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire
• Drug screening within 1 year of start
• Flu vaccine documentation or approved exemption
• Employment application with 7-year work history
• Skills checklist
• Internal evaluation if applicable based on prior agency employment history
• Background check and required sanctions/exclusion screenings
• Education verification

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• One day off during the week

Additional Notes

• Online orientation modules and pre-assignment testing must be completed before start
• Badge photo is required
• Driver’s license or state ID is required for computer access and must be carried on duty
• Agency staff must be willing to float only within their demonstrated competencies
