NICU Registered Nurse
Overview
- Location: Issaquah, Washington
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Post Partum experience
- Labor and Delivery experience
Clinical Responsibilities / Unit Details
- Level II NICU caring for unstable newborns 32 weeks and greater
- Attends all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries
- May float to Postpartum and Labor & Delivery
- Weekends required to meet staffing needs

- Chest tube setup/care
- CPAP/BiPAP
- Procedure sedation
- RSI drugs
- Cooling/warming blanket
- Drains
- Feeding tubes
- PICC/central lines
- Syringe pumps
