PACU RN

Overview

Location: Seattle, Washington
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 4x10 hours, 11:00–21:30
Hours per week: 40
Weekend requirement: Yes, unless the schedule states otherwise
Call requirement: Yes
Floating: Within the hospital
Local candidates: Accepted
First-time travelers: Accepted with strong experience
RTO limit: 1 week maximum

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Washington
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of ICU experience

Preferred Qualifications

CCRN
CPI

Role Notes

PACU role in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting
Patient population includes ages 12+
Unit handles both outpatient and inpatient post-procedure patients
Travelers with ICU experience may be considered and trained in PACU
PACU nurses with high-acuity PACU experience may also be considered

Scrubs provided for OR personnel
Parking cost: $10.26 daily
