Description
Pediatric Registered Nurse
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Indianapolis, Indiana
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Float required
- Every other weekend required
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- One completed travel assignment
- Pediatrics experience
- Med Psych experience
- Pediatric Behavioral Health (2 years of experience)
- Pediatric Behavioral Health experience within the last year
Preferred
- CPI certification
Unit Details
- Pediatric medical/psychiatric unit
- Locked unit with two padded isolation rooms
- Patients have a medical-surgical diagnosis along with a behavioral health need
Compliance / Onboarding
- Pending license is accepted
- References: 2 recent employment references
- Employment application must be current and explain any gaps of 30 days or more
- Skills checklist required within 12 months of start and annually
- Background, health screening, and facility onboarding documents are required before start
