Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience)
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Assignment Details

• Adult cases
• Staffing ratio: 1:4
• Floating within scope is not required
• Floating to sister facilities is not required
• Block scheduling is not accommodated
• RTO restriction: 1 request

• 221 staffed beds
• Scrubs provided

Compliance Highlights

• Primary source verification of state license required
• NURSYS verification required for RNs
• 2 clinical references required
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start and updated annually
• Fit test required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Tdap required within the last 10 years
• Negative TB screening or chest x-ray required
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation required
• Hepatitis B immunity documentation required
• 11-panel drug screen including cotinine/nicotine and marijuana required within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
• Eye exam required within 6 months of start and repeated annually
• Color blind exam required within 5 years of start
• Skills checklist required for the applicable unit and updated annually
