Overview

• Travel/contract role in Clearwater, Florida
• Start: ASAP
• Shift: 4x10s, 1:00pm–11:30pm
• Daily caseload: 15–25
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• First-time travelers accepted
• On-call required: 2 call shifts per month
• Floating within scope is not required
• Floating to sister facilities is not required
• Locals are not accepted

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with 2 years of experience
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• ARRT (Adv.)
• Experience in an outpatient setting
• Experience in an inpatient setting
• PACS skills
• Contrast administration skills
• Siemens MRI equipment experience
• Knowledge of neuro exams (brains, perfusions, diffusion)
• Knowledge of vascular exams
• Knowledge of pre and post neurosurgery exams
• Experience with Cerner
• Florida license
• Driver’s license or state ID
• Experience in an ER setting
• Experience in a community hospital setting
• Experience in an adult ICU setting
• Ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills
• Patient safety focus
• COVID-19 vaccination required; medical and religious exemptions accepted

• Weekend requirement to be discussed in interview if applicable

Work Environment

• Short-term acute care teaching hospital
• MRI cases include neurosurgery
• Equipment includes two 3T Siemens magnets

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Background check required within 1 year of start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check required
• HHS/OIG check required
• Education verification required
• Fingerprint clearance required before start
• Photo for badge required before start
• Dress code and tobacco policy acknowledgment required
• Account registration and modules must be completed before start
• Fit mask acknowledgment required
• Physical exam required within 6 months of start
• TB screening required within 10 weeks of start
• TB questionnaire required annually
• Drug test required within 30 days
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity/documentation required
• Flu vaccination or approved declination/exemption required
• Respiratory safety clearance required if the clinician will use a respirator
• 2 references from within the past 2 years required
• Employment application required
