NICU Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in Greenville, South Carolina
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
STABLE
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Preferred Experience

NICU III experience

Schedule and Work Expectations

Float to other NICU/pediatric areas when not needed in Neonatal Intermediate
Call is required, at least 3 shifts per contract
Weekend coverage is every other weekend, though this may change based on need

Unit Details

46-bed neonatal intermediate unit
Cares for neonates greater than 34 weeks
Typical patients include babies transferred from NICU once medically stable, post-op patients, central lines, and septic workups
Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3 to 1:4

First-time travelers will be reviewed based on experience
