Registered Nurse — Emergency Room

Job Overview

Travel/contract position in North Kansas City, Missouri
13-week assignment
Day shift, 3x12 hours
36 hours per week
ASAP start with Tuesday orientation
Locals accepted at the same rate

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Cerner
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
NIHSS

Schedule Requirements

Every other weekend required
At least 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays required
No block scheduling

Additional Notes

Background check required before start
Drug screen required within 3 months of start
Flu vaccination required; approved medical or religious exemptions accepted
COVID vaccination required; facility waiver accepted
TB screening required within 1 year of start
Physical exam required within 1 year of start
Two recent references required
