Description
RN - NICU
Job Overview
- Travel RN position in Plano, Texas
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS
- NRP
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Experience
- Level III-IV NICU experience
Unit Details
- NICU with 41 beds
- Typical patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:4, with 1:4 rare
- Common equipment includes HFOV, central lines, conventional vents, CPAP, NIPPV, and ostomy care
- Typical care includes surgery except heads/hearts, respiratory support, and MicroPremie care
Schedule
- 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
- No on-call requirement
Work Environment
- Teamwork-oriented environment
- Floating may include the nursery
Dress Code
- Royal blue scrubs
