RN - NICU

Job Overview

Travel RN position in Plano, Texas
13-week contract
36 hours per week
Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS
NRP
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Experience

Level III-IV NICU experience

Unit Details

NICU with 41 beds
Typical patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:4, with 1:4 rare
Common equipment includes HFOV, central lines, conventional vents, CPAP, NIPPV, and ostomy care
Typical care includes surgery except heads/hearts, respiratory support, and MicroPremie care

Schedule

4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
No on-call requirement

Work Environment

Teamwork-oriented environment
Floating may include the nursery

Dress Code

Royal blue scrubs
