NICU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

  • Location: Vancouver, Washington
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Shift: Day, 3x12 hours
  • Hours per week: 36
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Floating: May float between two facilities in Washington and Oregon

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Washington
  • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
  • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

  • ECMO experience

Additional Requirements

  • EPIC familiarity is required

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

  • Criminal background check
  • State-specific Washington WATCH search
  • 2 professional references
  • Physical exam within 1 year before start
  • Tdap within 10 years of start, or signed declination
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year before start
  • Annual TB questionnaire
  • Measles immunity or 2 vaccines
  • Mumps immunity or 2 vaccines
  • Rubella immunity or 2 vaccines
  • Hepatitis B immunity, 3-dose vaccine series, or signed declination
  • Varicella immunity or 2 vaccines
  • Negative drug screen within 12 months of start
  • Flu vaccine or signed declination during flu season
  • COVID vaccine documentation or declination
  • Respirator clearance
  • Review of facility policies and procedures
  • Signed floating acknowledgement
