Description

Cath Lab RN

Overview

  • Travel/contract RN position in Richmond, Virginia
  • 13-week assignment
  • Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Local candidates are allowed at the same rate

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Virginia
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience with Epic

Additional Requirements

  • Government-issued photo ID must be carried while on assignment
  • Background check required
  • Drug screen required within 60 days of start
  • Physical exam required within 1 year of start
  • Tdap vaccine or declination required
  • TB screening required
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella titers required
  • Hepatitis B titer, vaccine series, or declination required
  • Flu vaccine or approved exemption required
  • Color blind testing required
  • Abuse reporting competency required
  • Medication/pharmacology competency exam required as applicable
  • Competency exam required
  • HIPAA acknowledgement required
  • Annual skills checklist required
  • Annual TB questionnaire required
  • Annual modules must be completed during orientation week
  • Orientation includes pharmacology exam, point-of-care testing, and airborne precaution mask fitting
  • Fingerprinting and CPS-related documentation may be required depending on assignment location/unit
