Step Down RN

Job Overview

Travel/contract position in Hannibal, Missouri
13-week assignment
Night shift, 3x12 hours
36 hours per week
Patient ratio: 1:3
First-time travelers accepted
No local travelers within a 60-mile radius

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg experience
Telemetry experience

Clinical Expectations

May float to med tele, med surg, and rehab units as needed
May be assigned charge duties if possible
Must be comfortable caring for isolation patients, including COVID
Experience with Cardizem, Amio, Heparin, and Dobutamine drips
Experience with thoracentesis, paracentesis, BiPAP, and Airvo

Schedule and Assignment Details

On-call every 3rd weekend
Block scheduling requests may be considered at submission
All time-off requests must be included with the submission
