Endoscopy Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in Carmel, Indiana
13-week assignment
Day shift: 4x10 hours, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
Block schedule may be available
First-time travelers accepted
Indiana residents are not accepted
Locals are not accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
3 years of endoscopy experience
Endoscopy experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
Pediatrics experience
Experience with Cerner

Schedule and Work Expectations

Weekend requirement: no
On-call required: one weekday shift per week and one weekend call shift every 6 weeks
May float within scope to PACU if needed
Must work 2 of 3 major holidays

Clinical Setting

Endoscopy unit with 1:1 ratios
Unit serves pediatric and adult patients
Pre/post and intraprocedural care
Upper and lower GI, bronchoscopy, EBUS, and pain management cases

Additional Notes

Scrubs are provided
Free parking available
