Description
Endoscopy Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Carmel, Indiana
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Block schedule may be available
- First-time travelers accepted
- Indiana residents are not accepted
- Locals are not accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 3 years of endoscopy experience
- Endoscopy experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- Pediatrics experience
- Experience with Cerner
Schedule and Work Expectations
- Weekend requirement: no
- On-call required: one weekday shift per week and one weekend call shift every 6 weeks
- May float within scope to PACU if needed
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
Clinical Setting
- Endoscopy unit with 1:1 ratios
- Unit serves pediatric and adult patients
- Pre/post and intraprocedural care
- Upper and lower GI, bronchoscopy, EBUS, and pain management cases

- Scrubs are provided
