Operating Room RN

Overview

Travel/contract role in Charleston, South Carolina
Day shift: 3x12s, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
No weekends
No on-call
May float within perioperative areas as needed
Block scheduling is at the manager’s discretion
9 operating rooms
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Experience

Ophthalmology
Orthopedics
ENT
Gynecology
Genitourinary
Endocrine
Surgical oncology

Additional Job Notes

Radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency
May be required to precept a care team member in the operating room
RTO must be submitted at the time of application and is subject to facility needs
Traveler may be called off one shift per 2-week period
During hurricane season, staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
