Description
Intensive Care Unit RN
Location
- Elizabethtown, Kentucky
Schedule
- 3x12
- 7p-7a
- Weekend and holiday rotation
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Direct CRRT (continuous renal replacement therapy) management experience including setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Direct IABP (intra-aortic balloon pump) management experience including waveform monitoring, site care, and troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- Previous nursing experience
Clinical Experience
- Recent ICU experience, ideally in a cardiac/CVICU or high-acuity surgical ICU setting
- Direct CRRT management experience, including setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Direct IABP management experience, including waveform monitoring, site care, and troubleshooting
Additional Role Details
- Cardiovascular ICU / high-acuity critical care
- Weekend and holiday rotation
- Hands-on management of CRRT and IABP patients expected
- ACLS required
- CCRN is a plus
- Experience with Impella or ECMO is a plus
- Cardiac surgery post-op recovery experience is a plus
