ER Travel Contract Job

Overview

Specialty: Registered Nurse
Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day, 3x12 hours
Weekly hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
Start date: 3–4 weeks out, depending on compliance

Work Setting

Emergency Room
Short-term acute care hospital
Magnet and teaching hospital
Level I trauma center

Schedule and Assignment Details

Patient ratio: 4:1, with occasional flex to 5:1
Weekend requirement: every other weekend
Only Friday–Sunday weekend block is available
No block schedule during weekdays
No on-call requirement
No floating within scope to meet facility needs
No local candidates within a 75-mile radius
Pending license accepted
Guaranteed hours provided
RTO limit: no more than 7 days per 13-week contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (3 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
